OMG I have no idea it's this humongous. Just DOWNLOAD it. Unless of course you have ginormous monitor with high resolution. Do I really need to resize this? comment.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So here comes the finished product. Can't say I'm completely happy with it. As I said 3/4th way through I've lost all my ..data.. due a "catastrophic cascading failure".. of my computer. I was unable to retrieve my files, but I saved part of it on an external hard drive, and I was able to savage Data and Lore (partially). In the end I give up on trying to redraw the background details (use to be that very faintly you can see Lal, screens, wall light, etc) and instead went ahead and "animated" it.
Some part of the drawing got sloppy because I really didn't have the time or the energy to redo everything. I'm so sorry Lore T-T Lore is meant to look a little awkward laying there, but there still stuff I'm not satisfied with hum..
I've shortened Data's hair a tiny bit by request, and changed tiny bits here and there, prob no one would even notice but w/e ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyone else find Lore's blank iris-less eyes disturbing when Data deactivated him? It just shrinks and a layer of like cloudy pearly film covered up his eyes.
Here Data is just putting him in a lesser? state of deactivation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So basic premise is a post-emotion-chip Data afflicted by his recent experience with the Borg visit the only brother he have (to his knowledge) in remembrance and contemplates their relationship.
O_O I guess this is where he keeps Lore and Lal with him on the Enterprise, yes he savaged them from Enterprise-D, I'm just glad the Borg haven't found them OTL. I figure Data won't really want the Daystrom Institute dudes to be disassembling Lore, his only brother, even if he was evil. And perhaps because... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Software: Adobe Photoshop CS2 Adobe Flash CS3 Hardware: wacom tablet intuos4 small
There's nothing I don't love about this picture, but I especially appreciate that you kept Data "young" - I never bought the whole "aging program" business. Alas, dear Brent was only human...
The facial expressions are haunting and astonishing. I honestly don't know which one is more moving - Lore's dead, vacant stare (with a hint of shock, no less), or Data's pensive, remorseful one. Even Data's hand looks beautiful. I'm just so sorry that, as you said, the background was unfortunately lost. The darkness in the picture is still nice, though; after all, it's a very dark moment for both Data and Lore. Wonderful, wonderful picture that affects the viewer on so many levels.
You can really feel Data's regret. Lore left him no choice but to deactivate him, but the fact still remains that it was done by Data's hand. I feel so sorry for Data. He was so excited to have another android like him reactivated in Datalore, but in the end, it came to nothing but pain.
Wow, this is amazing. They're so realistic and beautiful at once. I like the colours too. (Btw, I followed your link, and suddenly, Lore was staring at me, with his empty eyes! It was almost shocking! XD) I like it very much, it's perfect!
Thank you for your kind comment. I'm glad I was able to depict how beautiful Data is (he's beautiful both physically and spiritually) and Lore. Lore and his empty eyes give me the creeps when I first saw it. It still does tbh. I'm so happy you like it.
